They were getting married at The Whitney’s Inn In Jackson, NH. With the skies showing us rain, sun and clouds. Again, love won. The bride was not worried and nothing could affect her happiness on this day. All was well. They pushed the wedding back thirty minutes to see if it would stay dry. It did, well mostly. It did rain for a bit during the outdoor ceremony. The site for the wedding is just across the street in a wooded area. The wedding guests take seats on long wooden benches. There is a stone fireplace at the front of the isle and that is the spot the “I do’s” take place Some folks toughed it out others used umbrellas to keep the rain at bay. It was perfect. We stayed under the cloudy skies and ran from the rain once or twice during the family photos. It was a fun time that made this part of the day a memorial one, for sure. We still made a few bridal photos at the end, before the skies really opened up and washed us inside. This was my first wedding at Whitney’s Inn and The Shovel Handle Pub. It is a great space in a quaint old barn setting. Set up on three levels with dancing on the middle floor. If you are looking for a wedding venue in Jackson, NH The Whitney’s Inn is worth the visit. The owner at the Inn is a great guy ready to help in anyway to make your wedding day special. With the rain coming and going the staff of the Whitney’s Inn was so hands on and ready to help with the couples needs. They wanted until the last possible time to make the decision on the location of the ceremony.
The food was great and the venue was very clean and large enough to keep most of the guest on the dance floor all night. The guests and family loved to be together on that dance floor and the music played on into the night. I love Jackson, N.H! It is home to many great venues and backdrops for photos.
