Beginning in high school I have always had a camera. In photography class it was black and white and created in a dark room. Today it is in 4k and brought to life on a screen. Initially focused on headshots and family portraits when I started to shoot professionally. Then I was asked to photograph a friends wedding in 2014. After that first wedding I thought never again—until editing those first images changed my mind. Now, 12 years and 300+ weddings later, I still love it for the joy it brings couples seeing their photos. My style evolved through training with top photographers like Bobby Lane at Maine Media Workshops & College and Jason Lanier at two workshops. Your wedding isn’t my photoshoot—it’s your day. I capture big and small moments while ensuring your vision comes first, discussing key shots beforehand.
I’m Joe, raised in New Hampshire, where I fell in love with photography in high school, developing film in the darkroom. Married, with four adult kids and two little ones at home,
I do not mean with one arm out and phone in hand.
I like to create a selfie series once a year when I am inspired. The images on this page are just a few of them.
Why you ask? It gives me time in front of the lens and puts pressure on myself to come up with new ideas.
No I do not smoke. But I had an idea I just had to try.
I may look a little rough in this one. But rest assured I have cleaned up nicely
One of my second shooter grabbed this one from a past wedding. Thanks Paul
