Southern New Hampshire Weddings at Pats Peak ~Joe Martin

What is better than spending a Saturday with my family? I can only think of one thing…. Spending that day creating memories for a family that has just begun. I was in southern New Hampshire in the town of  Henniker, at Pats Peak Ski Resort. I have skied most of New Hampshire’s mountains, but never Pats Peak, so it was an exciting experience to be there. The venue was fabulous and a perfect place to have a wedding and reception in one spot. First, we took the chair lift to the top of the mountain. This is where the joining of the couple took place, on fabric-lined hay bails. The music played beautifully, as the wedding party approached  the  officiant. The couple joined hands as the father of the bride gave his blessing. It was a short, but sweet, ceremony. After the couple was joined as husband and wife,  we had a  mountain top portrait session. The clouds were great and as the night progressed, the sky became a beautiful shade of red, which was the perfect backdrop for some picturesque photos.  I was anxious to post and share this amazing Pats Peak wedding venue.
