Last year I headed to the coast of Maine for a class. I was able to rent a Tilt-shift lens for my camera. They are an amazing lens. With moving parts that do what it says. It can tilt the angle of view and create an effect with blurring around the edge of the frame of the photo. It gives the viewer the feeling like the photo has been edited in such a way to give this look, but it is all done with the lens. I feel almost any photo could be turned into a fine art photo with the use of this lens. ABOUT THIS PHOTO: This was shot across Camden harbor. I was just playing with the lens and loved the way this looked with the Church steeple in focus and the rest of the city looking blurry and out of focus.
